The Arava Institute offers an accredited university-level semester or yearlong program for both undergraduate and graduate students from the Middle East and around the world.
In our beautiful campus in the Arava desert we create together a unique, green and multicultural community. It’s a once in a lifetime opportunity for Israelis, Palestinians, Jordanians and students from around the world to study, research and live together.

When and where? Tuesday-Wednesday, 5th-6th of April in Kibbutz Ketura (the open house days include an overnight stay)

Come and meet our students and staff, attend lectures, hear about the unique studies and work of the institute and experience the special atmosphere with a diverse community which proves that nature knows no borders!

Participation in the program is possible before or during a Bachelors degree (similar to an exchange program), or after a Bachelor degree in an internship program.

Among the courses we offer: Earth sciences, Renewable energies, Sustainable agriculture, Organic food production, Water in the Middle East, Environmental education, GIS and more.

معهد وادي عربة للدراسات البيئية هو الأول في التعليم البيئي وبرامج الأبحاث في الشرق الأوسط، وإعداد القادة المستقبليين للاشتراك وحل التحديات البيئية في المنطقة وتعزيز التنمية المستدامة.

يلتحق الطلاب لتلقي مساقات دراسية في الدراسات البيئية على مستوى جامعي مطروحه من قبل جامعة بن غوريون او بينينغتون في الولايات المتحدة الامريكية لساعات اكاديميه قابله للمعادلة في معظم الجامعات.
يعقد البرنامج باللغة الإنجليزية ويتوفر منح دراسية كاملة للطلاب المؤهلين.

برنامج إليوم المفتوح يتضمن رحله لمختبرات المعهد والمنطقة المحيطة، حضور محاضرات، تفاعل مع طلاب المعهد، المتدربين والمحاضرين.

מכון הערבה הוא מכון לימוד ומחקר בשיתוף פעולה אקדמי עם אונ’ בן-גוריון, המציע תוכנית אקדמית לתארים ראשון ושני מתוך האמונה כי לטבע אין גבולות.

הזדמנות ייחודית לישראלים, פלסטינים, ירדנים וסטודנטים מכל העולם לגור, ללמוד, לחקור וליצור יחד קהילה ירוקה, רב תרבותית ומיוחדת במשך ארבעה חודשים באווירה מדברית בערבה הדרומית.

בואו להכיר את הסטודנטים שלנו, להאזין להרצאות, לשמוע על הלימודים והעבודה הייחודית של המכון, ולטעום מהחוויה המיוחדת של צעירים מהמזרח התיכון ורחבי העולם שחיים יחד ומוכיחים שלטבע אין גבולות!

ההשתתפות בתכנית אפשרית לפני תואר, באמצע התואר (בדומה למסלול “חילופי סטודנטים”) או לאחר התואר במסלול התמחות ומחקר.
בין הקורסים שאנו מציעים: מדעי כדור הארץ, אנרגיות מתחדשות, חקלאות בת-קיימא, ייצור מזון אורגני, מים במזה”ת, חינוך סביבתי, GIS ועוד.
